In Chapter 5, Piglet decides to give Eeyore a present of some violets.  Eeyore, however, is rather preoccupied with Education and making the letter 'A', so Piglet, feeling rather nervous as he can't get his attention, blurts out that he thinks violets are rather nice and runs off . . .
